Q. Does the fog leave any residue?
A. No it completely evaporates as the fog is all water based.
Q. Is the fog safe to use around computer equipment?
A. Yes it is completely harmless to computer equipment and won’t damage it.
Q. How long does it take for the fog to evaporate?
A. Once fresh air is let into the room, it will take about 20 minutes to completely evaporate. With no fresh air it will take longer (approximately 45 minutes).
Q. How long does it take for the fog to fill a room?
A. It all depends on the size of the room. The machine we recommend will fill the room in 40-60 seconds, leaving one unable to see objects 15cm in front of their eyes.
Q. How long is the fluid in the machine that creates the fog good for?
A. 5 years.
Q. What happens if the power fails in the building?
A. The unit is equipped with a backup battery allowing it to operate for 2-3 hours with no mains power. If connected to your alarm system, your alarm system will also need to have a battery back-up in the event of mains power failure in order for the sensors to work.
